DJ Skott came up through FM radio in Maine in the mid 90s, starting on WHSN 89.3FM and launching Beats Per Minute in 1997, Bangor's only dance show. By 1998 BPM was already streaming live online in RealAudio, long before online DJ culture became normal.
After moving to Phoenix in 1999, he built his sound around high-energy trance and later coined the term "Power Trance" to describe it. Today, DJ Skott bridges archive-level credibility with current releases, livestream energy, and audience-building across modern platforms.
